A few words people have used to describe me are: warm, safe, genuine, and empathic. I see it as an absolute privilege to offer an environment, relationship and process that can be life changing. I am honored to hold a deep hope that you can live a renewed life even when you can’t. You can be assured I will meet you where you are, you will feel accepted and valued and you will feel encouraged to walk the fulfilling journey that counseling can offer.

My undergraduate degree is in Human Development and Family Studies, and before I became I counselor I was a teacher and directed youth ministry. I wanted to be counselor from a young age and after experiencing the counseling journey myself, I decided it was time to go back to school and pursue my passion. I graduated with my masters in Clinical and Mental Health Counseling from Denver Seminary and, if you choose, I am open to discuss faith issues and spiritual direction. I have always loved getting to know people and listening to their unique stories and look forward to getting to know you!

When I am not in the counseling office, I enjoy spending time with my husband and kidos, skiing, camping and playing outside. I also love connecting and having fun with good friends and family. I have learned how necessary and nurturing solitude in nature is for me and I especially love hiking and trail running. A few fun facts: I have chickens, two puppies, love traveling, and learning about different cultures and eating spicy Asian food.
